Summary:
The Attach & Embed element allows users to upload multiple .pdf files or images with the option to embed them into the newsletter, allowing the reader to have visibility of the document without having to download it. If you receive your community flyers in PDF format, you can now upload them directly into your article and ePublisher will embed it automatically.
Step 1 – Log into your ePublisher account and click on Create/Edit Articles icon from the left-hand side navigation bar.

Step 2 – Within the Article Management Screen, select Create New Article.

Step 3 – Insert an article heading and click Continue.

Step 4 – From Add Content Elements, select the Attach & Embed element.

Step 5 – Select the Browse & upload icon to choose the documents and/or images which are to be added to your newsletter article.

HINT: To select multiple files from your computer, hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and use the mouse to select the files.
Step 6 – Select Open.
Once the files have been uploaded, the following window will then appear with all files at 100%.

Options available within this menu are:
a. Edit the filename.
To edit the file name, click on the Edit Pencil icon to the right of the file name.
NOTE: This will not amend the actual name of the file, just the tag name within your newsletter.

b. Embed.
By choosing to embed the file into your newsletter is to show the contents of the files within the newsletter and not as an attachment. Should you wish to have the file as an attachment, deselect this option.

c. Remove file.
To remove a file click the Red Minus icon, this will remove the file from the upload list.

Step 5 – Click Save.
