Preparing your content prior to generating the PDF.

This is an important step to ensure that you remove any un-important items from the newsletter so that your PDF doesn’t become unnecessarily long or bulky. Keep in my mind that the changes you make here do not affect the
original newsletter in any way. You’re simply editing a separate copy of it specifically for printing purposes.

Once your editing area has loaded you can:

  • Remove embedded images from text block elements
  • Remove entire elements easily. (e.g. entire text block, galleries etc)
  • Create your page breaks within your content so that specific content
appears on a new page in the final PDF.
  • Removing unwanted images and elements from your PDF file

To remove images from a text block, simply hover your mouse over the image and click the Red Trash Can Icon.

To remove entire elements, hover your mouse over the element a red border will surround your chosen element and the remove option will become available at the top of your element.

Creating pages breaks in your PDF newsletter.

ePublisher is an online newsletter publishing platform which generates online content in HTML. When creating your printed hard copy of the newsletter it is important to tell ePublisher where the page breaks for your
newsletter needs to be. Once you add your page breaks you can preview to see if they look good. Otherwise, you always go back and re-apply them. Page breaks can be added in two different ways:

Method 01:

Add a page break after each of your elements by clicking the Insert Page Break option.

Once a page break has been applied your grey dotted line will become red. To Remove a page break, click on the insert page break option and your red dotted line will become grey.

Method 02:

Add a page break between lengthy text blocks to keep specific sections together.

Left click inside the element where the page break should be placed and click Insert Page Break.

A red line will appear inside your element.

To remove the page break simply click on the area above the page break and click delete on your keyboard.

Preview & Generate your PDF

Use the Preview and Create PDF button to see how your PDF file will render before clicking Print.
